INTRODUCTION

  1. Let’s consider Jesus’ last day on earth.
  2. Jesus died totally alone.
  3. Death has a way of changing your mind.
  4. In Jesus’ final day, the thief was the only one who spoke kindly, defended or said anything good about Jesus.

OUTLINE

  1. The illustrative criminals.
    1. There are only two responses to the cross: Acceptance or Rejection.
  2. The rejecting criminal.
    1. He was dying.
    2. He was dying and was guilty.
    3. He was dying and was criticizing.
    4. He was dying while deriding Christ but also asking to be saved.
  3. The accepting criminal.
    1. He was dying.
    2. He was dying and was guilty.
    3. He was dying but was praying.
    4. He admitted he was guilty.
    5. He believed Jesus was Lord.
    6. He believed in life after death.
    7. He humbly asked for Jesus to remember him.
    8. He was saved just in time.
  4. The attending criminal.
    1. You are dying.
    2. You are dying accepting or rejecting Jesus.

CONCLUSION

  1. PRAYER.
